What Are Connect Groups?
• In Growth Groups, 15-20 people meet weekly to study the Bible.
• Each Connect Group meets for 60-75 minutes a week via Zoom.
• Depending on what your group is doing, groups last 10 – 11 weeks
Summer 2020 Connect Groups begin the week of June 14 and last through
August, so it’s just enough time to grow in your faith, learn something
new and make new friends without feeling like you’re making a big
summer all of our Connect Groups will be meeting online using Zoom. So
it’s really easy, you’ll meet some great people and you don’t even have
to travel or leave the comfort of your home!

Since there are a variety of groups, you’ll have the chance to share your life experiences with others who have similar ones.
Do I need to buy a book or study guide?
depends. Some groups do not require you to purchase a book or study guide.
But for some groups, you will need to purchase the book that your group
will be studying. It’s normally inexpensive. But, if purchasing a book
is a financial hardship, please email email@example.com and we will be happy to help you out. We don’t want anything to keep you from growing!
What happens when I sign up?
you sign up, the leader of your new Connect Group will contact you with

Connect Groups meet once a week, and each meeting is just sixty to
ninety minutes long. Groups meet 10-11 times over the semester. It’s a
short-term commitment but the positive impact on your life will be
What will the people in my group be like?
Groups are made up of the same people that attend a Beltsville Adventist Church worship
service. You’ll most likely see a few people that you have seen on
Saturday as well as some people that you’re meeting for the first time.
It’s a great way to get to know other people outside of a Saturday service.
