Bible Journaling: Growing in Creativity and the Word

Looking for a fresh way to deepen your time in Scripture while expressing your creativity? Join us for a 8-week Bible Journaling Connect Group starting soon!

Designed for high school students through adults, we'll meet Fridays at 7:00 PM. Each week, we'll gather with our Bibles, notebooks, and a few art supplies to explore how God's Word can come alive through color, lettering, and simple illustrations.

This is more than an art class—it's a spiritual journey. Together, we'll practice creative ways to study the Bible, discover new techniques for journaling, and encourage one another in faith. Topics include: Creative Lettering, Colors in Scripture, Journaling Your Prayers, Storytelling Through Art, and more! Whether you're an artist or can't draw a stick figure, this experience is designed to help you grow closer to God, connect with others, and find joy in the discipline of daily time in the Word.

Come ready to learn, create, and see Scripture in a whole new light! The meeting location and supply list will be announced soon.

Required:

• A Bible (journaling Bible preferred, but a notebook works too)

• A notebook or sketchbook (if you don't want to draw/write directly in your Bible)

• Pens (black and colored)

• Colored pencils (won't bleed through pages)

• Highlighters (preferably Bible-safe)

Optional (for extra creativity):

• Washi tape (decorative tape)

• Stickers or stencils

• Watercolor pencils or light watercolors (test first on back pages)

• Glue stick
