About the Course
Stories & Conversations is a Book Club Connect Group designed for readers and non-readers alike—a space where curiosity matters more than how much you read. Together, we’ll journey through one thoughtfully chosen book, using stories as a springboard for meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection. Each gathering offers a relaxed, judgment-free environment to explore ideas, learn from one another, and see how stories—both on the page and in our lives—shape the way we think and grow.
Whether you love reading cover to cover, prefer listening to summaries, or just enjoy rich dialogue, this group is for you. Stories & Conversations is less about homework and more about community—show up as you are, engage at your own pace, and leave encouraged, inspired, and more connected than when you arrived.

Krysten Thomas is the children and youth pastor at Beltsville Adventist Church. She is passionate about helping young people develop a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and playing board games.

I am hosting a Book Club for readers and non-readers alike. Books provide a way to be inspired, learn, and connect with others. The Book Club Connect group will be a way to read a good book while making new connections.
